As we told you last week, a pair of Atlantis actors have been signed for a crossover guest appearance on Stargate Universe (story). Now those two have been announced, at today’s SGU panel at San Diego Comic-Con. David Hewlett and Robert Picardo will be the Atlantis residents to appear, according to reports out of the convention hall. Hewlett’s Dr. Rodney McKay certainly makes for an obvious choice, seeing as he is an expert on Ancient technology (though a much later version of it) and one of the planet’s all-around smartest people. Destiny has previously sent away for experts to visit via communication stone, including Dr. Brightman for surgery (“Divided”) and Dr. Amanda Perry for engine repairs (“Sabotage”).
